For each qualified family that you refer to us, that attends a vacation ownership presentation at Barrier Island Station's newest resort in Kitty Hawk, you receive one VIP Certificate Of Appreciation. You may choose to have your certificated mailed to you, or Go Paperless! and receive notification by e-mail!
• What can I do with a Certificate of Appreciation?

Each certificate is worth 10% of your annual maintenance fee on one unit-week. If you have 10 referrals that attend the presentation each year... you'd never have to pay a maintenance fee EVER AGAIN!
Of course, these certificates are good for more than just maintenance fees! If you choose not to use your certificates for maintenance fees, you can save and redeem them for gift certificates, BIS merchandise, vacations, and more! Here's a table of the very latest reward redemption information:

All you need to get started is to give us the names and phone numbers of any friends, family members, co-workers, or anyone else you know that may be interested in learning more about Barrier Island Station Resorts and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. You can use our Online Referral Submission Form or call us toll free at 1-800-237-5177 to give your referral names.
(As required by law, we cross-check all telephone numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry, so if you think your referrals may be on the registry, we'd appreciate it if you'd contact them and have them call us.
